This Fire Alarm and HVAC Replacement project, completed on schedule in December of 2019, involved the complete replacement of the fire alarm at the mission critical facility, including the addition of a clean agent suppression system to protect approximately 18,000 square feet of equipment rooms.  The project also included the addition of three 13,500 cfm water-cooled AC units and other miscellaneous HVAC Upgrades. Maintaining full alarming and suppression capabilities to protect the site during construction, a new parallel fire alarm and suppression system was installed and commissioned before demolition of the existing system.  The additional AC units were installed utilizing future taps on the existing chilled water piping to allow expansion of network equipment.  The four-month project was successfully completed while allowing the site to remain fully operational without any down-time for network traffic.

“I have reviewed the O&M manuals for the subject projects and they are very well done and complete, thank you.”
